I enjoy photographing both for pleasure and for business. When I'm not photographing clients or restoring old photographs - you can find me playing with film cameras, working with lighting in my studio or shooting infrared photos on a converted camera. I started my business in 1983 photographing weddings. This naturally led to event photography - reunions, anniversary parties, charity events and other celebrations. I was chosen to be one of the official photographers for the Inauguration of George H Bush in 1989.
Services
What services do I offer? I can scan most formats of film - both negative and slide (positive) as well as scan prints. I can do restorations of existing prints as well as scans. Most times, you can leave the studio that day with your original unless you have a bulk order of multiple slides / prints / negatives.

I have been photographing weddings since the early 1980's - starting with film and medium format cameras. I was asked to photograph the Inaugural Ball for George Bush and had one of my weddings featured in Boston Brides Magazine. My specialty is creating custom wedding albums to store your memories. I asked Ann to photograph 5 of my paintings that would be defined well to be accepted by an artist website. The photos needed to be digitized high enough to be professionally printed and offered to the public for sale. One of the paintings was particularly difficult to achieve perfection. It was a piece that had a resin finish that added to the challenge of glare and shadows.
In addition the colors in this piece were complicated. I am incredibly picky with colors so when I tell you that this was my test case for both the photographer and the printer I am not kidding. I am more than happy with Ann's work. She took on a difficult task with patience and ease. The results were great! Thank you Anne.

Thank you, Ann! You have done an amazing job taking two of my valued family pictures that sorely needed restoration and transformed them! I am looking forward to sharing the prints with my aunt and uncle who were children when the pictures were taken in the late 1930's. I love the way you have updated them!

I asked Ann to design and produce a wedding album using 15 year old negatives and proofs. I'd had trouble finding someone even willing to work with such old materials. She was able to digitize and restore the images and made a wonderful album. Ann was exceedingly easy to work with; she was patient with our evolving timeline and preferences, and she was both professional and enthusiastic. We greatly enjoyed meeting with her, and the results were terrific -- at a very reasonable price, too. Thanks, Ann!
