Our first rental company fell through and so we had to ask for tables and chairs from Alexis Party Rental quite late in the game (just about 6 weeks prior to the event!). They worked with us to make sure everything would be taken care of, which was a huge relief, and everyone we spoke to in person was very nice and great to work with. Even though we were cutting it close with our order, they made sure to reassure us they could take care of everything.
We were also able to make small adjustments to the original order throughout our planning process, which was very helpful as a few different things came up or changed in the plan. Our reception venue was the Seymour Marine Discovery Center, which has worked with Alexis previously. If you happen to be considering the Seymour center for your event (which I also highly recommend!), don't waste time looking anywhere else, book with Alexis!
Communication was lacking at times (most emails unanswered until multiple follow ups, most questions ignored in emails) so it was tricky to get everything down in writing. In the end, it didn't matter, and they pulled everything off great - just a bit of added stress not having our questions and concerns addressed in writing. The pricing is fair and they did a great job delivering everything to two different locations on our wedding day, one was the ceremony site (Wagner Grove at Harvey West Park) and the other was the Seymour Center. They managed to arrive a little early on the morning of the ceremony to deliver all of the benches for the ceremony and it was much appreciated to have their help!

The guys at APR are top notch, VERY HARD workers. We were SO impressed with one particular employee- named Aidan D. Our event was very large with many 8' tables, over 200 folding chairs, linens, etc. This young man was picking up the tables at least 2 at a time with ease! We just watched him work like a machine, dripping sweat w/o stopping to wipe it away. The other guy was good, too, but this Aidan was GOING! He is a very hard worker. Alexis is lucky to have him.

Dealing with Alexis Party Rentals the months leading up to the wedding was no problem whatsoever. Their office staff are responsive and helpful. Day of the wedding, the delivery crew showed up and literally dumped the chairs and mason jars in a pile, but that was not too big of a deal. The frustrating part was that after they had returned to pick up all the items, they presented us with an invoice of items missing.
That part was really a he said/she said situation as to who lost the items (as we were not there when they retrieved the items back from the venue). The part that seemed unreasonable was how much they gouged us for a single missing 6 foot linen and 6 mason jars - $92.65 including tax! This seemed a bit outrageous. A word to the wise, if you do end up going with Alexis Party Rentals, make sure to do a thorough inventory before and after your event, or even return the items yourself!

We have a big xmas party every year and rent our chairs from Alexis Party Rental. I actually forgot to reserve my chairs and called up the day before the party to see if they could accomodate. No problem! The chairs were waiting for me in less than a half hour. LOVE ALEXIS' customer service. I'm a devoted customer for life.
