I recently rented from Abbey for a baby shower and it was a great experience. Laura helped me with my order and she made things so easy for me. She was very responsive, thorough and friendly. Hector was super nice and helpful at the loading dock as well. Overall I am really happy with the whole process- how smooth it was and how friendly and helpful everyone at Abbey is. I highly recommend!

Do not trust Google maps. It will try to take you through the secure gated See's candy distribution facility. Drive around the See's facility on the public streets, and in the back where the truck dock is located is a slightly rutted road. Take that and you will see Abbey Party Rents across the street from See's There is a showroom in front, and a will call around the side through a gate. They have a large warehouse and a large selection.

We had a pretty simple order for dinnerware and glassware for an intimate wedding of 24 guests. Everything went so well. Customer service is fantastic. Would absolutely recommend.

Abbey Party Rentals were wonderful to work with! The invited us to their showroom and walked us through each item we may need for our wedding. They were able to work within our budget. They were easy to get ahold of and quick to send over updated invoices when we made adjustments. Their farm tables were breathtaking and really brought our woodland wedding vision to life. I highly recommend!

Like many party rental companies, this one is difficult to get a hold of. Heads up that they have a quoting system on their website that promises to get back to you in 48 hours. but then never does! It's good to see that our economy is so strong that Abbey no longer needs additional business.

This is a long overdue review. What can I say about this company other than they go above and beyond EVERY SINGLE TIME! I always call them stressed out of my mind because our original supplier messed up, which is seeming to be a regular occurrence! Laura is so AMAZING! She makes sure to check what's it's stock and gets back to me ASAP because she understands the importance and frustration I am constantly going through. They've even gone to the point to help me with an emergency order when they are CLOSED!

What company does that?! I will never forget that day! Ivring, Jose and Laura jumped right into action to get my order to me the same day as we had a wedding starting at 5pm. Honestly they are superheroes! The only reason this isn't my primary rental supply company is that I am based in Benicia otherwise I would not hesitate to give them my business! They are the best!

I work for a nonprofit, and we usually rent tents, tables, and chairs. In this case, we rented 4 tents with weights, and one of the tents was not. When I returned the items, I told a really nice guy what happened and said if you can refund us the tent, because we used the weights, I will pay for it. No response; not even a "got your message, but we can't refund you." I won't be renting from Abbey's again.

Abbey Party Rents had reasonable rates and were reliable. Everything was delivered and picked up promptly. The only regret I had was being charged $5 each for broken glasses. I would think that 1-2 broken glasses would be normal. But, if still give them 5 stars as since we did accidently break them and should be held accountable.

Terrific experience from start to finish with our son's wedding- we'd rent from Abbey Party Rentals SF again. The only opportunity for improvement would be to automate the process of updating the rental agreement. Making changes required constant back-and-forth emails. Even with this, Irving was incredibly responsive and helpful with answering questions and updating the contract for us. Our rental included tables, chairs, linens, tableware, glassware and coffee/drink dispensers. Pick-up and delivery were both on time.

No issue with my rentals but beware these people are very inflexible and will scam and gouge you any chance they get. DO NOT sign the contract unless you are 100% sure because after you sign, they are unwilling to make anymore changes even though it is several days in advance of your event! To top it all, they picked up the rentals that was neatly stacked and arranged by our party planner.

Day after, I witnessed their delivery people collect everything-- 4 days later, they called and accused me of not returning their laundry bag. My rental bill was $2500 -- paid them in cash! Why on earth would I pick to take a ghastly laundry bag? They threatened to charge me $1K if I did not return it. Go ahead -- scammers!

Wow! Abbey Party Rentals went above and beyond for our school's graduation ceremony. We called them rather last minute to rent a stage so that we could have an outdoor ceremony that fit all of the COVID restrictions. Although they were pretty booked, they shifted some things around to make sure that our public school kids were able to walk on a stage. Erika was so nice and easy to work with and very responsive!

It was so easy to get a hold of her, and she was there every second of the way, from the time I called to inquire about the stage, right to the moment when they installed the stage. Thank you! The crew who came to set up our stage were absolutely wonderful! Courteous, knowledgeable, and when it was clear that we needed some railing to make it safer for our kids, they went the extra mile to contact their supervisor to insure that we would get that installed before the ceremony. Above and beyond! Thank you guys for everything; you truly helped to make this a magical day for our community.

The team at abbey party rents go above and beyond to do what they can to make your rental experience easy! I called fairly last minute for a small ceremony event the week of asking for tables, chairs, linens and tents. The event consultants were very helpful and walked me through the event rental process as this was my first time renting. They told me their manager was facilitating all tent rentals and passed on my info to him to complete my order.

It was such a smooth experience and they were all so kind! You would think talking to a few people would be confusing but they're communication was so on point and easy! Definitely recommend using Abbey for any future events, they will take care of you!

I came to Abbey to rent event equipment for my daughter's baby shower. Laura was a great help! I had no idea where to start. She helped me get the necessities I needed and added some really unique pieces from the One True Love Vintage Line. My daughter's baby shower was beautiful thanks to Laura and also the team who came to set up the event rentals on the day of the shower. Everyone was super helpful from start to finish. Big shout out to Irving! Irving stayed late the day before Christmas Eve so I could pick up my linen for Christmas Day! If it were not for Irving and his excellent customer service, we would not have had any linen for Christmas dinner! I am forever a customer of Abbey party rentals.

Kathy was very nice and helpful, unfortunately the outdoor heating lamp didn't work well. It was ridiculously difficult to light, and once we did it only stayed on for an hour. $264 down the drain for one hour of heat at my party. Would not recommend.

I compared a lot of party rentals to rent the ghost chairs (attached photo) for my wedding. Other rental company will charge you $20 for each chair, but Abbey party rental only charge you $10! That is 50% less and that is why we choose APR. They also have lots of variety on tables and linens. Irving was very responsive in providing quotes, even when I have last minute changes or I wasn't responding him for about a month (to reconfigure my wedding and guests).

We did the friday pickup monday drop off because we did not meet the shipping minimum, but that means we dont have to pay extra for delivery too! D day When we arrive we were greeted by Jose, APR respect the COVID 19 protocol and they get tested every 2 weeks. Jose was very accommodating. He lent us a cloth for our pick up truck for free and help us transport all the furniture to the vehicle.

Drop off Dropping off was easy and fast! Location Dont be deceived by google maps(it will direct you to a candy company) look for alan st and you will find them. Overall, I will recommend Abbey party rentals to everyone who is holding events as they are affordable, responsive, ease of transaction, and professionalism.

I rented from Abbey for my small outdoor wedding ceremony in SF in this past fall. I worked with Irving to place the order and he was a real gem. I was totally lost when it came to rentals. He really guided me through the process and I'm eternally grateful.

I am obsessed with Abbey. They have been my go-to for nearly a decade. Their prices, product knowledge, and service are unbeatable in the Bay Area. They literally have the same exact ghost chairs as their competitors for HALF the price. I seriously have no idea why anyone would go anywhere else. Check out their Micro Party Packages for COVID-friendly gatherings - they are super chic and safe! They even included masks and hand sanitizer for all of my guests.

I used abbey rentals for an event for my cake shop's first exhibit, and it was a total breeze. I spoke with Jonathan over the phone, he explained the whole process, and sent me a invoice and web payment link in 10 minutes. The website online also has a catalogue that's useful for browsing some inventory. This was also just 3 days before the event. Incredible, easy service. Highly recommend!

I really wanted to like this company but I didn't have the best experience inquiring about a tent rental. The person on the other end was short and a bit condescending when I asked questions. I also gave them an email with each item I wanted and they gave me a different quote, I asked for the tent as a rain option and the quote had the tent included. The back and forth felt really unorganized and in the end, we decided to book with a different company.

Very grateful for the service from the Abbey Party Rentals team! Strongly recommend! I submitted an inquiry for a family event in July, and Alexis in particular on the Abbey Party Rental team really went above and beyond to ensure we had exactly what we needed and within budget. I was so impressed by the level of professionalism and the timely responses, such a pleasure to work with. Only feedback is communication on day of delivery could've been stronger. I felt that I was tracking down the exact window and time of delivery and pickup.

We had an embarrassing snafu with Abbey at our event last year, and it taught me to seek harder to understand before accusing. I try not to be "that" event planner who writes negative reviews about vendors, but Irving took it to heart and really blew us away this year. What happened was a miscommunication in the time frame they were allowed at the venue, and it's one that'll be corrected for all events to come.

This time, Irving came onsite to ensure his team was providing top-notch customer service and completed all tasks in a timely manner. As a Regional Services Manager for my company, I've had to go onsite to handle client escalations (even if it's a small misunderstanding) so I appreciate their going above and beyond to make things right. No matter whose fault it ultimately was.

Thank you to Irving and his team for being detail-oriented and patient with the diagrams we provided, changes we requested, and volunteers you worked with. I personally appreciate your business and for continuing to grow our working relationship!

UPDATE: After being harassed and accused of being a liar by the owner I am compelled to post pics of the garbage stanchions these guys rented to me. Let me see if i got this straight? All reviews on yelp are bogus? Your employees are at fault? It's everyone's fault but yours? I'll give you a 20% discount (on your next order) if you take down the review? This is my response to you, Mr. Business Owner!

Abbey Party Rentals was great! From the first email I sent inquiring about champagne flutes and tables, Amanda was quick to respond to each email. She answered all my questions and got my order just right. It was easy and it was nice to have one less thing to worry about while planning such an important day (my wedding!) Thank you! We had a simple rental, wine glasses and appetizer plates. It was super easy to contact Abbey and they were very prompt in getting back to me. Pick up and returning was also a snap. Price was very reasonable. Will definitely use again.

Abbey was a delight to work with in everyway. Amanda was never too busy to call me back, change the order when necessary and got revised copies of the invoice to us quickly. The rental goods they delivered were clean and well maintained.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this company. Irving was extremely polite and helpful, he was able to accommodate our company's request for next day delivery of tables and chairs. I would recommend Abbey Party Rents to anyone, not only do they have great professional service but they are very dependable. Let me just say I never write reviews but I was so moved by this company and the staff this is my first and probably only one. :
