Planning my daughters backyard wedding and A-1 rentals made it complete. I ordered tables, chairs and tent. They were on time, set up was great and pick up was a no brainer. I would use them again if I had another party. I have no complaints about their services.

Cathy very rude and unprofessional! She has little to know customer service. I had an event for my daughter over the weekend and one of the lighted cubes did not work. It was recognized immediately by the delivery team. I was told I would receive a refund for the non operable equipment. Called A-1 rentals and got the very dismissive Cathy. She was short and abrupt.

Not a single apology for her inadequate equipment. I will file dispute with my Credit Card Company if a refund isn't immediately given for the item! I suggest renting your party event items somewhere else. You should always get what you pay for.

Disappointing. I ordered in a timely manner only to receive soiled chairs. Sent an email and still have not received a response. While I realize businesses are experiencing labor shortages, there is still something called customer service and delivering clean inventory. I had to take a Mr. Clean Eraser sheet to clean the chairs while I was preparing for a welcome party for out of town guests. Unacceptable from my point of view. When I call, no one answers, and I left a message, and no one has returned my call. Will not use them again.

The team that set up and tore down the stage we rented was great. They also responded to my emails quickly through the planning process which made it a breeze to plan. Highly recommend!

I NEVER write negative reviews because I believe that every business makes mistakes and has places to improve, however, we had such a bad experience with this company from start to finish that I couldn't help but write this. I ordered specific tents for a themed event 2 months in advance - not only were they delivered 3 hours late, but they were the wrong tents.

Every time I called to get an ETA of delivery, no one answered and I had to leave multiple voicemails. The only response I received was via email. I scheduled the tents to be picked up on Monday morning because we had another event and needed the area to be cleared out - no one showed to pick them up until TUESDAY AFTERNOON. Again, I tried to call to get an ETA and again no answer. We will not be using this company again, and I wouldn't recommend them to any business that hosts professional events.

Very happy with A-1 Rentals for a pre-wedding small party of 35 people in my backyard. I worked with Jamie Mills at the front desk who was very professional in understanding my needs. A1-Rentals delivery crew were on time for installation and did install everything as expected. I would highly recommend A1-Rentals to others.

March of 2020 I was planning my 55th Birthday party. Due to COVID everything had to be cancelled. The only vendor that has not given me my money back was A1 rentals. I was informed that I had a year to use my deposit, which was crazy at the time. NEED less to say my 55TH birthday is over. Due to pandemic still being our of control and it not being safe I have no plans to have any event.

I am still being told that I can not have my money back. This cancellation is well beyond my control and they have the audacity to not refund my money. They want to quote their no refund or loose half your money policy. This is so sad and no way to conduct business. CDC says social distance stay home no large gatherings and they want me to still plan an event when you have people dying every moment from COVID. I just want my money back for a service they never performed. It's my hope that they would do the right thing and just refund my money during this pandemic

A FIVE STAR GEM This month my events agency was contracted by a Fulton County school to provide production services for a high school graduation. Leading up to the event there were numerous changes. Jamie Mills at A1 Rentals produced no fewer than 4 modified contracts for the event, in addition to receiving continuous calls and emails from me as the date of execution drew near. Additionally, we were ultimately required to source more staging components from a third party, and Jamie was equally as effective and courteous in accommodating that request.

She never lost composure, showed aggravation or the lack of patience. I am enormously grateful and appreciative of her grace and customer service perfection. I will continue to call upon A1 Rentals for equipment support needs. I simply hope the next undertaking that I bring to them will be seamless. Either way, Jamie has proven to be an absolute five-star gem.

I will never use this rental company again. I rented tables and chairs for Thanksgiving. The contract said drop off and pick up on Thursday (Thanksgiving Day), so before signing and returning it, I corresponded with someone in the office via email to ask about the true drop off and pick up dates. The person told me that drop off would be the day prior, Wednesday, and pick up would be the day after, Friday.

On Monday, I received a message that delivery was scheduled for Tuesday, not Wednesday. I was never consulted about what time actually worked for me. When I raised the concern that I had, in writing, that delivery would be on Wednesday, I was completely dismissed and ignored. In order to accept the delivery, I had to rearrange my schedule because of their poor planning. Apparently, due to high demand around the holiday, they scheduled all table/chair deliveries on Tuesday and tent deliveries on Wednesday, thus I was left with no options. However, they could've communicated that in our correspondence before I signed the rental agreement.

I never received any details about the pickup other than that it would be on Friday. I called the office on Friday morning and spoke to 3 different people between the hours of 9am and 2pm while I waited at home for a pick up that i wasn't sure was even scheduled. Finally, the last person revealed that the office was actually closed and that when they were "relaying my message, " they were simply leaving a voicemail on my behalf for the actual company.

No one at the answering service could give me a number to reach dispatch or a number to actually talk to a driver, nor did they have access to the pick up or delivery schedule. On Friday at 6:30pm, the moving people contacted me to tell me they were 30 minutes from my house. I sent an email to the person I had corresponded with asking someone to contact me and never even got a response.

It seemed like once they had my money they were completely unconcerned with my customer experience. I was never sent a follow up to acknowledge the poor experience or to compensate for it. The only positive about this place is that the actual movers who did the drop off and pick up were professional, safe, and quick.

I reserved a tent for my wedding last Oct. We clearly agreed I would pay a $280.deposit to hold the tent. My wedding was on the 15th We agreed I would confirm my need for the tent (pending on weather) on Thursday the 13th. If I needed it they would then charge my card the remaining balance. Oh Wed.morning the 12th they charged my card the full balance.

Someone called me that afternoon and said they wanted to make arrangements for delivery for the tent on Friday. I reminded them of our agreement of the next day the 13th for confirmation. And that I wasn't planning on using the tent. The woman said I would need to email the person that I made the arrangement with, I asked to speak with him(Josh).

He told me I needed to email him that I wouldn't need the tent. I told him I didn't have time to sit down at the computer. I asked that he cancel it for me. Later that day I stopped and replied to the email confirmation that the order was cancelled. My card was charged anyway. I sent Josh a email about the charge and he never responded or fixed the charge, I had to file a dispute with my card company in order to get the charge taken off. It was their arrangement to cancel 48 hrs before but then charged me 72 hrs before, then failed to fix it, Sorry customer service.

They were an entire day late picking the tent up after the event (blocked our garage so could not get my car out to leave for honeymoon!). Our contract specifically said the date and time of pickup but I never even got a phone call saying they were late.much less an entire day late! The pole curtains were wrinkled, delivered late, and didn't come to the ground which completely defeated the purpose of pole covers/curtains.

The excuse given for the late arrival was that the curtains were being laundered. The installation crew pulled them directly out of a trash bag - wrinkled and questionable looking. Management is unresponsive and the sales associates were unapologetic. Furthermore, they left huge water barrels on my lawn for days (after I specifically asked for tents that could be spiked) and it looks like they drained them right into small sections of grass. My yard looks much worse than it did when I left for my honeymoon. I will NEVER rent from them again.

I rented the 12 foot inflatable screen and popcorn machine from A1 for a backyard "screen on the green" 30 birthday party. I worked with Jamie in the office, a 50% deposit was taken to reserve the screen and the balance was paid the week of my rental. She was very helpful and answered my MANY questions. Dave came to set up the screen and equipment.

I was given his direct phone number so that he and I could coordinate a more specific time inside the 2 hour delivery window I was given. This was very helpful with all the last minute things I had to do to get ready for the party. He made sure I was totally aware of how to use all the equipment. It came with a standard bluray player and projector, but some very high level speakers.

Once the sun set and we sat down to watch the movie everyone got a huge kick out of it. The popcorn from the machine was fresh and tasty, the screen was clear, and the sound was better than a theater! It was an amazing party. Excellent customer service! I am removing 1 star for a technicality, the equipment cannot be used in the rain. Had it started to rain the day of my event I would have been totally out of luck (and out of the money). It would be great if they could figure out a way to waterproof the equipment.

Its the worst company to do business with. They delivered dirty and torn tents on a Saturday. There was nobody in their office that day to rectify the situation. We couldn't host our event with their tents. Ended up using a banquet hall last minute. Not only that, they have bad attitude. Till date they didn't even bother to call to find out if there was a problem. I highly suggest not to use this company ever. They are frauds.

Since this is my first experience with renting party equipment, I can only go by this experience and cannot compare to another. The best thing about this company is the payment/documentation process.once they had my money, I was pretty much at their mercy. The most frustrating thing is the communication. When I was asking about the equipment, I was getting one word answers.

I ended up renting a 2 bowl frozen drink machine and two (5 gallons each) mixes for specialty drinks. My party was on a Saturday night. On Wednesday when final payment was due and processed, I called to get an approximate delivery time for Saturday.and after many follow up calls(BY ME) Cathy told me it would be on Saturday at some point and they would give me 1/2 hour notice before they got there.

On Friday, the delivery person called to tell me he was at the venue ready to drop the machine off.my party was on Saturday. I spoke to Cathy in the office, and with no apology, she said the machine would be dropped on Saturday AFTER 3PM. At 1030AM Saturday, the delivery people were there to drop the machines. They had to wait 15 minutes for me to get to the venue, and they did and were very nice.

I crossed my fingers and prayed the machines would work as expected, because up until now, there was zero support. David, the delivery person, said he would be in the area until 5 if there was any problems with the machine. Again, David was professional and very nice. The party went as expected, there were no glitches with the equipment. My pick up was scheduled for Monday, as they will not pick up on Sunday unless you pay them extra.

I explained to David that I needed at least 15 minutes to get to the venue, and he assured me someone would call me Monday with a pick up time. At 9am I spoke to David, who unfortunately was not picking my equipment up. At 905 I spoke to the office, they said they would call back with a pick up time. At 1030 I called the office AGAIN, they promised to call me back with a pick up time.

At noon, I started to call the office again. NO ONE answered the phones, the messaging system was full and I could not leave a message. This went on for 1 1/2 hours.at 130 the delivery person called to give me my 15 minutes notice. I raced over to the venue to let them in. They were very professional, again. These machines were not inexpensive to rent.

I would expect some modicum of customer service.there is literally NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at this company, except for the delivery people. I would not recommend or use this company again.

Nice sales people. Good service. Delivered as promised. The deposit requirements made me nervous, but they did me right!
